Approach

Child Life Specialists are some of hospitals’ best kept secrets, and the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) wanted to change that. ACLP hired M+R to build a website to coincide with the launch of their Emotional Safety in Pediatrics Report and accompanying Initiative, which details the importance of instilling emotional safety throughout the hospital setting as well as practical steps to increase emotional safety for children and families undergoing treatment.

Building off of ACLP’s existing brand, we created a branding package for the Emotional Safety work, including logo, color palette, typography, tagline, and branding guidelines. We then created emotional-safety.org using these guidelines. Our team wrote the website copy, created the design, filmed and edited an initiative video, and developed the website. Our media relations team also worked with ACLP to garner press around the launch of the Emotional Safety Initiative.
